2016 NWAIA Citation

We're excited to announce that the Bomgardner Residence was a recipient of a 2016 AIA Northwest Citation Award. This project is an excellent example of how beautify accessibility can be.

The client, who struggled with MS, was averse to ramps and elevators feeling they were ugly and utilitarian. Capitalizing on his love of sleek contemporary materials, a series of beautifully connected rooms showed him how graceful accessible circulation can be when celebrated as an architectural feature.
